Italian Sauce

Italians have enormous respect for, and a great love of their culinary traditions, so we'll try not to displease!

They have a saying that there's no such thing as an Italian and prefer to think of themselves as Romans, Tuscans, Neapolitans, Venetians and so on.

There is a strong rivalry installed in their children and they have a word for it "campanilismo" which means allegiance to ones own "campanile"(bell tower), ones own village or quarter or region.

So once again you will find very regional and seasonal sauces to go with your pasta or meat.
