I had so much to do this weekend and only managed to get through half of it. So, when it got to Saturday night I downed tools to watch the final of Britain’s Got Talent, I must admit I cringe sometimes when Simon Cowell opens his mouth, but it’s such good TV entertainment. Baz is not a fan, but that’s fine. Means I can watch it in peace! So up goes the surround sound, that way you can't hear the screams from the kitchen!
Yep, my turn to cook so what does the husband do? Take over the kitchen again! Why does he choose to make Italian bread the minute I am about to start preparing for my Watercress and Stilton Soup?
A certain word comes to mind, Cabbage: A familiar kitchen-garden vegetable about as large and wise as a man's head.
Finally, I managed to create a small space to do my prepping and the result is a fantastic homemade soup. I never liked watercress, until I tasted it in soup. I was sold on it straight away. It doesn’t taste anything like you would think, so try the recipe and let us know what you think. Don’t forget to crumble some Stilton on top.

Might even have some of Baz's Italian Bread with it!
