Following on with all the excitement of people coming and going to Australia we now have another member of Baz’s family coming over for dinner at the weekend.
We are so looking forward to the visit as he’s bringing his bride to meet us all! I think a traditional Sunday roast is on the cards.
Meanwhile I have a sister with a birthday on 4th July so I’ve been baking.
One of my favourite cakes is Lemon Drizzle Cake. It’s cheap and easy to make, very moist and will keep for days. I hadn’t made one for years when Baz came home with a recipe from a colleague from work ( I think they talk about food all day).

When I got up this morning I noticed half the cake was missing. Now there’s a surprise-oh well I’ll just make another one for tomorrow.
