Grape & Kiwi Crunch

  • 12oz/325g Seedless grapes
  • 3oz/75g Crushed digestive biscuits
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 3oz/75g Caster sugar
  • 3floz/90ml Dry white wine
  • 2tbls Brandy
  • 10floz/300ml Double/heavy cream
  • 1 Kiwi fruit peeled & sliced


  • Divide half the grapes between 4 dessert glasses
  • Cover with half the biscuits
  • Add the remaining grapes
  • Sprinkle over the rest of biscuits
  • Whisk egg whites until stiff
  • Whisk in half the sugar then fold in the rest
  • Fold in wine and Brandy
  • Whip cream until just thickened
  • Gradually whisk in the egg white mixture, beating until smooth and light
  • Pour over grapes and biscuit mixture
  • Chill until ready to serve
  • Just before serving top with kiwi slices
