Lamb Kebab's with New Potatoes


Serves 4
Prep Time 30 mins

Cooking Time 20 mins

  • 1lb/450g Lamb Steaks
  • 1lb/450g New potatoes
  • 2 Red onions

For the Marinade

  • 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Clove garlic, crushed
  • mix together and set aside


  • Cut the meat into bit size pieces and remove any excess fat
  • Coat the meat thoroughly with the marinate and leave for 30 minutes in the fridge
  • Wash the potatoes, place in boiling water and cook for 15 minutes, don’t overcook
  • Drain and set aside
  • Peel the onions and cut into wedges
  • Thread the lamb, onion and potatoes onto kebab sticks
  • Cook on medium heat over the B.B.Q. for about 20 minutes-drizzle more olive oil over the kebabs as required
  • Turn frequently until the lamb is cooked

Cooks Tip

  • If using wooden sticks soak in water for at leaset 30 mins (to prevent burning)
  • Leg steaks are best for this recipe
  • Once you have prepared the kebabs you can cover with Clingfilm and leave in the fridge
