Asparagus Finger Food Starter
Serves 2-4
Prep Time 2 mins
Cooking Time 5 mins

Ingredients
- Bunch of asparagus (about 10)
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
Method
- Wash the asparagus and pat dry with kitchen roll
- Snap off the 'woody stem' ends of the asparagus
- Place into a zip lock bag and pour in a little olive oil to cover
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Tip into a frying pan and cook for 5 minutes
Equipment
- Large frying pan
Cooks Tip
- To break off the woody bits of the asparagus hold the stem in one hand just over half way along and the base in the other. Then bend till it snaps. It will find its own breaking point.
