Seafood Pizza

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Topping

    • Extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 x quantity tomato sauce(see Italian sauces)
    • 8oz/225g packet of mixed fresh or frozen and defrosted seafood
    • 1/2 red pepper, deseeded and chopped
    • 1/2 yellow pepper, deseeded and chopped
    • 1 tbsp capers
    • 2oz/55g taleggio cheese, grated
    • 1/2tsp oregano
    • 2 1/2oz/70g anchovy fillets in oil, drained and thinly sliced
    • 5-10 black olives, pitted
    • Salt and freshly grated black pepper

    Method

    • Spread the tomato sauce over the base leaving a small gap at the edge
    • Arrange the seafood (if using frozen, defrost before using), peppers and capers evenly on top
    • Sprinkle the cheeses and oregano evenly all over
    • Finally add the anchovies and olives
    • Drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper
    • Bake in a preheated oven 425F/220C/gas mark 7 for 25 minutes
    • Cheese should have melted and crust is crisp
    • Serve
